Purpose(s)

Alas, it is fairly required that I have one functional WinXP box available for testing webpages and other apps. This machine primarily sits idle running Seti@Home tasks. It does make it useful for games of Eve Online.

It's secondary purpose is as a hardware backup for endor. These machines are twins, and I frequently haul the WinXP box to conventions with me incase the Linux box has a catastrophic hardware failure.
